How you heard of the site- I heard about it on the White Wolf forums.
Roleplaying Experience- I've played D&D with a group of friends since 3.5 was new. When 4th edition arrived I despaired and found World of Darkness and have been dying for a chance to play ever since.
NWoD Experience(we welcome beginners)- I'm a newbie
Time Zone(for setting up games)- In about two weeks I'll be on East Coast US time. But for now it's Mountain Standard Time for me. (Things will settle down, just after the road trip)
Amount of time available for playing a week- Every night

Did I do this application correctly? I have the feeling it's in the wrong area.

After my road trip I'll have more normal times available for play! Good ol' east coast.

Where do I make my character?

did, fine, and welome to NWoD openworld community, just write up a nice bio for a new human charachter, outlineing in a way how you got your skills your gonna start with (ie you have firearms 3, how, add in your bio, dad was a military man, and not knowng how to fiire a gun was impossible, from age 5 i could fire a pistol...etc)

once your done jsut submit a character sheet to me( links to mrgones website is on the links section and has niice interactive pdf char sheets which i prefer)

after wards we can get started, and you can enjoy NWod, im sure you will

also, you will need a pdf reader that allows editing, adobe does not, in the link section is foxit reader, its a small download and instal and is loads better than adobe, hope this helps,

you can use the mage, i would dl the 4 page editable mage sheet from mr gone, as youll meed the allies contacts etc, after char creation allies and contacts are gained from rp, after u establish them as such youll get the merit free

I have the 4 page character sheet downloaded. Would it be alright to take the Ghost familiar merit from Summoners? If not that's okay.

And I'm going to spend tomorrow making a great character, keep an eye ready!

you are human, you cant have a ghost familiar, when you awaken, something can be worked out perhaps, or save your experience from games till the awakening, your base sheet can only have things available to humans

but yes, all merits in all books are available for use, jus thave to meet requisites, your character will start off as a rgular human, after the prelude wich will be prolly 3-7 sessions long depending youll awaken, and ill add the mage template to your character

ok 1 major issue with the character sheet, and I should of told you this, so it is my fault

can't start anything , besides merits, with over 3 dots...it is sort of an unwritten rule in NWoD

and besides with 4 dots in multiple things, it is hard for your character to grow
